Proven Technique For PPC Campaign

Now I don’t spend a lot of money on PPC campaign. I’d rather affiliates promote any of the Clickbank sites I have and give them some of the profit. I’m just lazy and it’s a whole lot easy that way.

However for sites that don’t have an affiliate program (e.g.  supplement sites) then I have no choice but to play the PPC campaign’s game and like everything else online per pay click marketing changes all the time and while some tactics work for a while I personally have only had success with one long term technique.

Proven Technique For PPC Campaign

PPC CampaignThe eliminator method is real simple but it takes time. Here’s the quick version.

Step 1 – Research and find a good bunch of keywords that suit your product
Step 2 – Load them all into your Adwords, Overture or other PPC account along with a good ad and click go.

Step 3 – Using tracking code (supplied by Google etc) track the sales that come in and every keyword that reaches 100 clicks and stays unprofitable eliminate it out of your PPC campaign.

By doing this all you are left with is good quality, profitable keywords. Now if you’re on a budget and don’t have $1,000 or so to spend to find this out then you can do it with less keywords and on sign-ups instead of sales.

By doing this you’ll get faster results for more targeted keywords but the down side is that even subscribers may not be super targeted enough to buy. One other thing to consider when running a PPC campaign on supplements, ebooks or whatever, is that your offer should be extremely good.

While just the normal offer for the search engines is fine. For PPC campaign you need to think of something special.

The perfect example of this is the $1 trial or pay only shipping and handling. We use this on our supplement sites and it works really well but you need to do your maths first and work out your lifetime customer value.

This is really important because the free trial for a supplement is £3.95 (we deal with just the UK market) and there’s no way you can make profitable PPC campaign on a £4 sale.

However after the trial we charge them £39.95 per month for fresh supplies. Now it works out that for every £3.95 sign up we bring in around £16 based on 3 month test. So now all we need to do is get a £3.95 sale for every £16 we spend to break even.

The bottom line is that you can’t leave them any excuse not to take the offer right away because it’s costing you money.
